چکیده

Sinar ultraviolet (UV) dihasilkan dari pancaran cahaya matahari dan memiliki dampak negatif terhadap kulit bila terpapar berlebihan. Upaya pencegahan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan tabir surya. Buah pare ( Momordica charantia L.) kandungan metabolit sekunder diantaranya flavonoid yang bermanfaat sebagai Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak etanol buah L. ) diformulasikan sediaan krim stabil baik secara fisika kimia serta formulasi potensi Metode eksperimental laboratorium yakni, dibuat dalam bentuk konsentrasi kontrol negatif, F1 (3%), F2 (5%) F3 (7%). Kemudian dilanjutkan evaluasi meliputi uji organoleptik, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, lekat, sentrifugasi, SPF cycling test. Dari hasil menunjukkan formula I, II III surya dimana nilai paling tinggi terdapat pada Formula sebesar (52,6) termasuk kategori proteksi ultra.
